Sononautas – Ecoescuta sets out to inhabit the place of the other — the non-human, the untranslatable. Through a displaced and attentive listening, it seeks to open passages to new auditory perspectives and invisible sonic dimensions.
In this participatory workshop, expanded listening devices are invented and explored, built from simple materials such as cardboard and natural elements collected by the participants. Starting from the idea of this “other listening” — that of trees, stones, winds, and so many other presences around us — the aim is to listen beyond the landscape, recognizing that the landscape itself also listens, resonates, and returns echoes and silences.
