After 5 editions, and despite knowing that much is yet to come, we feel it is important to look back and allow ourselves the necessary time to reflect on the paths already travelled and those for the future, because we understand Lisboa Soa as as a whole system composed of on-going investigation, listening and exploration.
Therefore, we decided to concentrate the work done so far in a book that will be presented and celebrated at Castelejo, a fortification built in the mid 11th century, with listening sessions and a unique concert in which the guest artists will enter into a dialogue with the sounds that were recorded at Lisboa Soa, remixing, reinterpreting and adding other meanings to them. In this non-edition of the festival, we decided to work the memory, but with our ears focused on the future.
