REINVENTION

LISBOA SOA 2022 took place between the 26th and 28th of August in two unique spaces in the portuguese capital: the Roman Theatre and the Carpintarias de São Lázaro.

Under the motto “Reinvention”, this year’s edition reflected on the power of creation, imagination and collaboration, inviting artists to appropriate and reinvent objects, instruments and technologies to provoke a new and more conscious listening in the public.

With installations and sound sculptures, performances, workshops and soundwalks, music generated by computers, processed instruments and various devices, such as everyday objects, organic elements or scientific data converted into sound, Lisboa Soa wants to frame and focus people on listening.
