Mileece is a sonic artist and environmental designer merging art and technology to instigate and enliven our human connection with the hidden, living dimensions of nature.
About her music, Mojo wrote “it sounds like crystals, snowflakes and the stars”. Mileece Petre is a plant whisperer of sorts. She attaches electrodes to leaves. The electromagnetic current is fed into software she wrote that turns the data into musical notes, so a garden becomes an orchestra.
