Concert for a tree marks the beginning of a search around sound objects and experimental musical instruments created from trees and other natural materials.

The Hárvore instrument was created from an oak cut in a land clearing in the Serra de Montemuro in February this year. During the quarantine this small tree slowly became a musical instrument, with strings stretched between its branches and bells instead of flowers.

This performance represents the beginning of a research that is expected to be long. After MAPA and Mininu, his last two works as an interpreter and creator, focusing on political and social issues such as territory, borders, migrations and refugees, a new cycle opens, in which one seeks that beauty and energy of nature bring us some elevation and nobility of spirit.

Art as a cure.
