Dissimulation is a participatory audiovisual intervention platform for mobile phones. Participants are invited to connect their mobile phones to the platform, making their handsets part of a collective instrument that is caused to feed with sound content and thus produce the sound result.

The work explores the expressive potentialities of technical resources embedded in the devices, involving the participants in a disguised operation. The result is the establishment of a participatory, dynamic, diffuse, portable and concealed electroacoustic environment capable of articulating several participants / mobile phones in different situations.

In this workshop we invite the local community (students, musicians, artists and the general public) to participate with their mobile phones.
