Rudolfo Quintas, born in Porto in 1980, is a Portuguese multimedia artist. He creates interactive, generative and data-mapping audiovisual works that invariably take the form of performances, installations or sculptures. These digital media environments form a subtle balance between control and randomness, defined by Verónica Metello as “sensitive contexts”. These contexts establish a continuous dialog between the digital and the non-digital. They are an open window to the world, where the artist reveals new perspectives to reflect on human behaviors.
‘Blind Sounds’, an Inclusive Interactive Music Workshop for Blind and Non-Blind People, where participants experience together the creation of interactive music through body movement. The workshop is organised by a methodology composed of exercises that enable the creation of a new mental image of the body provided by sound immersion.
